CASTELLE announces its sponsorship of a luncheon seminar featuring renowned interior designer and author Barclay Butera to be held during the April 2016 High Point Market. Moderated by Cindy Hodnett, editor of Design Today, the seminar entitled “Insight to the Outdoor: a Curated Approach to Designing for the ‘Fifth Room’” will include discussion of the key elements of successful design for the outdoor space. Butera will offer creative ways for homeowners to infuse a piece of themselves to make each project unique. The luncheon seminar will take place on Monday, April 18 from 12 noon to 1:30pm at Suites at Market Square Seminar Room (SAMS 1-1014). The event is limited and pre-registration is required.
“Outdoor spaces are becoming the new family room for clients,” said Butera. “They are as important to a home as any other room in the house. We are finding, more and more, our services being enlisted for spectacular over the top design including custom furniture, fireplaces, full kitchen and wet bars, magical lighting – the works. Whether it’s a patio, lanai, porch, deck or sprawling vista; it seems everyone wants a comfortable and glamorous place to relax al fresco.”
From Butera’s perspective, every designer has their own personal point of view and the new outdoor product lines available today allow designers to customize the look they want. Barclay will provide attendees to the seminar his singularly unique point of view to curate an outdoor space and provide a seamless transition from the inside out. As a California native, Barclay will showcase many of his exterior design projects with a colorful presentation followed by a question and answer session with Design Today editor Cindy Hodnett. Complimentary boxed lunches will be provided by Castelle® – CASTELLE’ designer focused line of customized outdoor furniture.
Attendees also will be given the chance to win a special furniture showcase giveaway from Castelle® as well as one of two copies of Barclay’s new signed book; Barclay Butera Modern Living.
